Educator, mathematician, astronomer, author. Bond was superintendent/president of The Citadel l908-31, dean 1931-1933, Citadel graduate 1886.
Correspondence 1908-1930 relating to The Board of Visitors, Association of Citadel Men, beneficiary scholarships, budgets, discipline, commandant, encampments, ROTC. Bond's typescripts of "The Story of The Citadel" and his diaries 1885-1889, 1894-1898 are included.
Correspondence 1910 concerning visit of Taft to Charleston. In 1913 Bond wrote to Taft expressing support of the League of Nations.
