Engineer, member of the Citadel Class of 1938.
William Ladson recalls his decision to attend The Citadel. He graduated in 1938. In 1940, he entered the Army Reserves as part of the Coast Artillery and worked stateside as part of the engineer corps during World War II. In 1954, Ladson went overseas to Japan and China as the executive officer of a combat engineer group. He retired from the Army in 1965 and held the position of city manager of Cocoa Beach, Florida.
