Literary society organized in 1920 by Charleston writers Dubose Heyward, Herbert Ravenel Sass, Josephine Pinckney and Beatrice Ravenel. Correspondence 1926-1937 relating to office business of the society, i.e., membership, lecturers, poetry competitions, advertising and accounting. Poems 1921-1966 which appeared in The Yearbook of the Poetry Society and poems by St. James Cummings, professor of English Literature and History at The Citadel 1888-1913.
