Lawyer, judge, Confederate Army officer, Citadel graduate 1851. Aiken was a Colonel in the 13th Alabama Infantry. He was held as a prisoner of war on Johnson Island, Ohio April-July 1865. Muster roll, promotions, discharge orders, letters (3) relating to his Civil War service. Journal April-July 1865 kept when prisoner of war. Citadel diploma, 1851.
