Newspaper article, 1943 July 30.
Rebellion at The Citadel. The Corps refused to eat in protest of new regulation stating that freshman regulations were to be suspended. The Freshmen were to be on an equal level with the upper classmen. The Board of Visitors was in the Mess Hall that same day. Corps was restricted to campus.
