Grover Criswell's collection of letters, documents, programs, telegrams pertain to The Citadel and South Carolina. Correspondence 1859 concerns the Fourth Brigade South Carolina Militia's property on the Citadel Green. Correspondence 1866-1888 concerns the Fourth Brigade's efforts to recover their property from United States Occupation forces. Letters 1888-1890 from Cadet Rivers concerning life at The Citadel are part of the collection.
