Gen. Jack B. Farris was sent to the Caribbean island of Grenada on Oct. 29, 1983 as commander of the U.S. military forces to evacuate endangered American citizens and to restore a constitutional government. Papers consist of articles, photographs, maps, documents, and newspapers pertaining to the operation.
