From Yorkville, S.C. Dec. 28, 1860, David Jackson Logan mentions Major Robert Anderson leaving Fort Moultrie for Fort Sumter. From Fredericksburg, Virginia Dec. 29, 1862, Ben Logan describes shell that tore his overcoat, talking to the enemy across the river, rations and food prices. A funeral discourse August 12, 1866 in memory of Lt. David J. Logan 1837-1864 and John Pinckney Logan 1840-1865 held in Spartanburg, South Carolina is included.
