Pimm describes the places where he was stationed: Dawfuskie Island (April 6, 1862); Hilton Head; Port Royal; Beaufort; Seabrook landing; Folly Island (December 11, 1861 p. 2). Preparations, Monitors in the harbor(Ironsides February 22, 1862 p. 1), tactics (April 6, 21, 1862) and duties (May 26, 1862). Pimm was also at Ft. Pulaski, Georgia; Annapolis, Maryland; Georgetown, D.C. and St. Augustine, Florida.
