Writes to his brother, David M. Taylor, who is at Port Royal. Mentions preparations for move to Charleston, combat on Coles Island and Stono River. Believes the Union Navy will destroy Ft. Sumter and Ft. Moultrie. Mentions "cheese boxes" as the Rebel name for the U.S. Monitors.
