Army officer, merchant, member of Class of 1942
Bernard Warshaw was assigned to the 433rd automatic weapons battalion, an anti-aircraft unit, the day of his Citadel graduation on May 30, 1942. He served in campaigns in North Africa, Sicily, Italy, Anzio Beach, France, Battle of the Bulge and Germany. Mr. Warshaw was present at the capture of the Dachau, Germany concentration camp and describes the scene of horrors.
Mr. Warshaw was interviewed by Col. David White, 2000 August 2.
