1:00 – 3:30 pm Parents’ Information Reception, Mark Clark Hall Reception Room

3:30 pm Report to parents by the President, Buyer Auditorium, Mark Clark Hall

6:00 – 9:00 pm Ring Ceremony, McAlister Field House

8:00 – 11:00 pm Ring and Parents’ Weekend Hop, Deas Hall


8:00 am – 1:00 pm Information Center: Coffee and juice for parents and guests, sale of
lunch tickets, mementos and company pictures

8:30 - 10:15 am Barracks open to parents. The Citadel Pipe Band performs at all barracks

8:45 - 9:15 am Kelly Cup Competition on Padgett-Thomas Barracks quad

9:15 – 9:30 am Rifle Legion Performance, Padgett-Thomas Barracks quad

9:30 - 10:00 am Regimental Band Concert, Summerall Field

10:00 am 4th Class Promotion, All barracks

10:30 – 10:45 am Carillon Concert

11:00 - 11:45 am Review, Summerall Field
Includes 4th Class Acceptance, awards presentations (Kelly Cup, Cadre Leadership Award, and Regimental Commander’s Bowl)
Inclement weather: Review cancelled and awards presented at next parade

11:30 am Pre and post-game festivities, Holliday Alumni Center
Sponsored by The Citadel Alumni Association, food will be available for purchase Open to parents as well as alumni.

12:00 - 12:45 pm Family style lunch, Coward Mess Hall

2:00 pm The Citadel vs. Appalachian State football game
The 2012 Summerall Guards perform at halftime
