  Education Job Search Information (Fairs, Flyers, & Links)  
 
 
If you will be seeking a teaching or related position after you graduate:
1.
 Register with CERRA (Center for Education Recruitment, Retention, and Advancement) and with Teachers-Teachers.com to search and apply for positions in South Carolina.
   
2.
 Register with hireLINK, our web based career management and recruitment system (job board, resume database, and more), to review and apply to positions posted by employers, including school districts. School Districts may submit general postings leading you to their own sites for current openings, post specific positions, and attach flyers for their district job fairs to their postings.

 District/Agency Recruitment Fairs: Employers are also asked to include these events within their profiles and postings on hireLINK for students and alumni to view.
Please Note: Most school districts prefer to attend college career fairs that are only for teacher/educator recruitment. And more and more are holding their own job fairs so that candidates may learn about opportunities on-site. Due to the small size of our program at The Citadel, a separate fair is not offered. Additionally, since very few candidates have been able to attend our past Fall Career Fairs, school districts are not invited. Instead, school districts seeking Citadel candidates will be encouraged to post to hireLINK and will also be told that Citadel students seeking employment in South Carolina are encouraged to register with CERRA and Teachers-Teachers.com.
