Digitizing Video

Rules:

• No copyrighted material will be digitized if it falls outside of the Educational Fair-Use Act guidelines.
• Only Citadel-related material will be digitized (lectures, performances, guest speakers, special classes, debates, special events on campus, PowerPoint clips, etc.).
• The patron must fill out the Digital Editing Request Form (PDF).
• The patron must bring the blank media for the final output.
• There is a minimum of 10 business days for project completion.

Services Available:

• Convert a VHS tape to a digital file.
• Convert Mini-DV to a digital file. (Patron must bring mini-DV camera and connections.)
• Convert 8mm tapes to a digital file. (Patron must bring 8mm camera and connections.)
• Convert VHS-C tapes to a digital file. (Patron must bring VHS-C camera and connections.)
• Convert a digital video file to a different digital video format.
• Convert a digital video file to an analog format.
