A native of Colorado, Michael Livingston holds degrees in History, Medieval Studies, and English, the last an MA and Ph.D. from the University of Rochester. In his academic life he has published articles on Tolkien and Joyce, discovered European maps of America that pre-date Columbus, and has just completed his third book, an edition of The Middle English Metrical Paraphrase of the Old Testament. In his fiction life he is a winner of the prestigious international Writers of the Future Contest and has published in a variety of genres and venues.
