Peter Mailloux earned a BA in English from Dartmouth College and a Ph.D in English from the University of California, Berkeley. He teaches courses on 20th century American and British Literature, World Literature, and the contemporary novel. He has published a biography of Franz Kafka and is working on a book about Richard Powers, Paul Auster, William Gaddis, and Toni Morrison.
