Curriculum Changes
1. Sophomore Year, Second Semester: Change "Masterpieces of World Literature I or II" to "Masterpieces of World Literature II."

. . world literature."
2. Junior Year, Second Semester: Change "American Literature Elective" to "Twentieth Century American Fiction, or Twentieth Century American Poetry and Drama."
Justification: To satisfy the NCATE comment that "requirements in
literature must be revised, so that the program requires rather than
only offers electives in modern American literature."
3. Senior Year, First Semester: Change "Approved Elective" to "African American Literature."
Justification: To satisfy the NCATE comment that "requirements in
literature must be revised, so that the program requires rather than
only offers electives in . . . literature by authors of color."
Action: Passed unanimously
