Graduate assistantships
Graduate assistantships are available for students carrying a minimum
of six credit hours each semester. Each spring, the Dean of the
College of Graduate and Professional Studies assigns graduate students
to work as assistants in various academic departments and activities
for the next academic year. Initial assistant selection is made by
the departments and activities. If you are awarded an assistantship,
you should be available for work in your assigned department for
approximately twenty hours per week.
Applications for graduate assistantships are available in the office
of the College of Graduate and
Professional Studies.
