                Late-medieval prose-novels; women and emotion in medieval German prose; representation family in medieval and late-medieval texts; ordering principles in medieval manuscripts and printed books; development of the novel; translation and transformation of texts throughout Europe; reception and adaptation of classical Greek and Latin literature in late-medieval German; the image of the East in medieval and late-medieval German texts; misogyny in medieval German texts.
