SPANISH CULTURAL CLUB OF THE CITADEL

The Citadel Spanish Club was organized more than a decade ago.  In the year 2003 the name of the club was changed to Spanish Cultural Club by Cadet George Alvites, who was one of the most active presidents of the club over the years. Our club pursues the following objectives:

1) making a better understanding of Spanish culture to cadets, MECEPS, ECEPS and civilians;
2) uniting The Citadel and Charleston communities with Spanish club events and services;
3) providing regular opportunities to practice Spanish language through the biweekly participation of joint-tertulia with the Spanish Club of the College of Charleston.
