The Sesquicentennial Celebration
Schedule of Events

          Here are some of the Homecoming events that are open to the public. For a complete schedule of activities for alumni, visit The Citadel website at www.citadel.edu


Thursday, Nov. 7
 7:15 p.m.: Exhibition basketball game. Citadel vs. All-Air Force, McAlister Field House. Free admission if you show your Saturday football game ticket. Reserved seats $10. General admission $7.


Friday, Nov. 9
11:45 a.m.: Old Citadel Gate Dedication by Washington Light Infantry, Holliday Alumni Center Courtyard. Free.
Noon: Pat Conroy book signing featuring "My Losing Season" about the 1967 Citadel basketball team, Holliday Alumni Center Gift Shop.
3:30 p.m.: Performance by The Citadel Chorale and Alumni Memorial Service, Summerall Chapel.
5 p.m.: Twilight Parade, Summerall Field.

Saturday, Nov. 10
8:30 a.m.: Barracks and facilities open to visitors. The Pipe Band will play in all barracks.
8:50 a.m.: Summerall Guards perform, Summerall Field.
9 a.m.: Himelright Scholarship presentation, LeTellier Hall
9:15 a.m. The Citadel Athletic Hall of Fame 25th anniversary induction ceremony, McAlister Field House.
11 a.m.: Homecoming parade and recognition of The Arland D. Williams Society inductees, Summerall Field.
2 p.m.: Citadel football vs. Chattanooga. Athletic Hall of Fame inductees will be recognized during halftime and the Regimental Band and Pipes will perform.

Tuesday, Nov. 19
7:30 a.m.: Burial of the Sesquicentennial time capsule, Holliday Alumni Center. Anniversary breakfast prior to burial. Tickets are $12 when purchased by Nov. 14 or $15 at the door.
