The fall semester is flying by! To the parents of knobs, congratulations! You have made it through Matriculation Day and are halfway through first semester!
Parents' Weekend 2009 is quickly approaching, and the agenda for the weekend will be packed with fun for all who attend. The Citadel Foundation looks forward to seeing cadets with their families on campus that weekend. Be sure to stop by Buyer Auditorium on October 24th and visit with us!

- The Citadel Foundation Parent Fund
The Citadel Foundation Parent Fund allows parents to support The Citadel's greatest immediate needs and have a direct impact on their cadets' experience on campus. Parents have generously given to this fund to support The Citadel Fund, the Department of Cadet Activities, and the Deans' Discretionary Funds in each academic school. <view article>
- 2009 Graduate Creates Scholarship To Help Recruit Women & 'Pay It Forward'
Holly Maslowski, '09, has established a scholarship for incoming female freshmen so that other women can receive the financial help she was so grateful to have as a cadet. <view article>
- Citadel Companies Recognized for 2008-2009 Academic Year
Palmetto Battery, Alpha, and Echo companies were recognized for outstanding leadership, academic and military performance, and community responsibility during the 2008-2009 academic year. <view article>
- The Citadel vs. VMI Blood Drive
On September 15th, The Citadel held a blood drive that gave cadets an extra perk for donating blood—bragging rights against VMI! <view article>
- Cadets establish memorial to 9-11 terror attack victims
- For the fourth year, members of The Citadel Republican Society have set up the 9/11 Never Forget Project on campus to commemorate those lost on September 11, 2001. <view article>
