Football season is right around the corner and that means tailgating, friends and fun are in sight.

As we anticipate the start of the 2008 season, we remember the success of 2007, when the Bulldogs finished with the first winning season in 10 years. Records were broken, games were won and great football was watched by thousands of Bulldog enthusiasts. Coach Higgins and his staff are working hard all summer long to get our boys in tip top condition for opening day on August 30, 2008. The only thing left to do is figure out where you will be watching The Bulldogs live and in action.

The new addition to the west side stands of Johnson Hagood Stadium is truly a remarkable sight. With each passing day, construction is nearing completion and the anticipation of the new facility escalates. The impressive structure will be home to a new press box, sky box suites, club lounge and club seats, all of which are top of the line and comparable to any major university. The best part is that you can still become a part of all the excitement.
 
The Club Lounge will be like nothing you have ever seen before! Imagine lounge chairs and leather couches scattered within a 4000 sq foot room and flat screen televisions to sneak a peek at other games being played around the nation. With elevator access and private restrooms, this will be the most exclusive place to watch Citadel football. The lounge is as cozy and comfortable as they come and will have air conditioning for those warm Charleston Saturday afternoons. A glass window is the only thing that separates those inside from those outside in their seats. 

There are 476 seats in the club section and each one is built for comfort with cushions and a cup holder. If there is every a time that you want to stand up but still be outside, visit one of two terraces located on both sides of the lounge. The terraces are 5000 square feet of open air and a magnificent view of the Charleston skyline. 

The Club Lounge offers the tailgating experience without the hassle. Enjoy three courses of food throughout the game in addition to the most exciting entertainment in town, Citadel Football. For no additional costs, you will dine on the finest food Charleston has to offer and eat until your heart is content. Shrimp boils, pulled pork barbecue, gourmet pasta are a few delicacies that you will dine on. With the menu changing weekly, your taste buds are sure to stay ahead of the game. When the time comes for a cold beverage, step inside to one of many bars where a friendly bartender will take care of you.
