Applications for the 2017 Invitational Summer Institute will be accepted through March 31, 2017. To apply for the Summer Institute, you need to complete the following steps:
1. Send an email to firstname.lastname@example.org with the following information:
b-your mailing address
c-your phone number
e-your school name
f-your principal's name
g-your principal's email address
h-the grades/subjects you teach
You should receive an acknowledgement email within 24 hours.
2. A reference form will be emailed to the adminstrator indicated in your application. Please inform this person that you have provided their name as a reference.
3. Attend an interview at The Citadel on April 4, 2017. Invitations, based on the written application and the interview, will be issued shortly after the interview.
If you are invited to attend the Invitational Summer Institute, you will need to be able to attend all sessions: the April 29 writing marathon, and all sessions in June. Your tuition, fees, books, and other course materials will be covered by the Lowcountry Writing Project. Upon successful completion of the Institute, you will receive six hours of graduate credit.
