Thursday sessions 5 - 8  p.m:   1/20, 1/27, 2/3, 2/10, 2/17, 2/24, 3/3, and 3/10.
Saturday sessions 9 a.m.- 3 p.m:   1/22, 2/12 and 2/26.

3 Hours Graduate Credit

This course is designed to help teachers integrate wikis and blogs into classroom instruction while differentiating content and access with a diverse body of learners. Teachers will explore digital writing environments and learn to create collaborative writing workspaces for students. Guided activities and assignments will target intermediate technology competencies and offer teachers integration ideas for classroom use.

EmilyEmily Elliott, M.Ed., is an Educational Technology Specialist for Charleston County School District , the Technology Liaison for the LWP, and the director of the 2009 LWP Young Writers Camp. While completing her Masters in Educational Technology at USC Aiken, she developed the LWP's first technology course, which was offered in fall of 2008.

Teachers in Charleston, Berkeley, Dorchester, Beaufort, and Colleton counties are welcome to apply.
